one of my many favourite karen carpenter songs. this time however, i don't quite agree with her. snuggling in bed throughout a rainy monday night had been good. although generally i hate mondays, i woke up this morning to a different 'time of the year'. no, not different side of the bed but to the same familiar sound i hear through my window years ago saying "gel, we have mushrooms!! take the containers!!'"
yes, my house lawn is sprouting mushrooms again!!! lots and lots of mushrooms!! i haven't seem them in years. those tiny white blotches among the green grass... beautiful~ i was too excited picking them into the container that i forgotten to take a picture of it!! [oh, they are delicious edible mushrooms...yummy!]
however,
this is how they look like. I don't really know what you call them but i think they are white button oyster mushrooms. haha... i'm just guessing. anyway, we picked enough to last for a week!! yummy yummy yummy!!
so much for the early excitement, the rest part of the day was a blurr. I participated in an experiment at 11am and subsequently going in and out from frankl lab, to piaget lab then zimbardo lab up till 3pm to participate in psychology experiments. non stop. not even a break for lunch.... only occationally running to the water cooler and muching on m&ms. and all this just to fulfill a 5% extra credit. sheesh*
just came back from choir. really really pumped out*
thankfully, mom kept some mushrooms for me!! *yummy* =D
